Janie Hagopian, CEO
Janie Hagopian, the proud owner of Perfect Paws, started her business in 2008. While receiving her B.A. from Framingham State College in 2005 in Psychology, she was also training her dog to acquire a therapy dog certification through Therapy Dog’s International. This sparked a fire inside of Janie that eventually led to her desire to further study animal behavior.
She enrolled in Animal Behavior College while also working full time as a Special Education Inclusion Specialist in the Newton Public Schools. Janie became an ABC Certified Dog Trainer, and is also trained in T-Touch Massage Therapy for pets.
Janie’s calm, gentle manner and understanding of animals as well as their owners has been the key to her success. Janie is pursuing her passion of owning her own business and getting to work with her furry friends every day. She would have it no other way.
